TODAY IS THE DAY!

Please plan to attend this meeting today at 6:00 p.m. in the Navasota High School Library!

Information will be shared regarding a possible Voter Approval Tax Ratification Election (VATRE) to help our community better understand the process and what it could mean for the district.

 

During the meeting the attendees will learn:

 

--What a VATRE is and how it works.

--How the process could affect Navasota ISD.

--Information indicating that the proposed measure would result in no increase to the tax rate for voters.

 

They will also have an opportunity to ask questions and better understand the proposal.

 

The purpose of this meeting is to provide clear, factual information so that community members can make informed decisions based on an understanding of the possible VATRE.

If you have not had a chance to view the VATRE 101 presentation and slide show, we ask that you do that prior to the meeting.

 

We encourage all interested parents, staff, and community members to participate by reviewing the VATRE 101 presentation and slide show, and also attending the informational meeting.
